What is a Boudoir Session?
Boudoir sessions are tasteful photos that hint at sexiness. Every person has their own idea of what sexy is as well as what they are comfortable with. These sessions are cute, fun, sexy, flirty and even a bit sensual all the while maintaining your comfort level.
Body Image and Weight
Most people (myself included) don't have bodies like super models or professional athletes but that doesn't mean that gorgeous, sexy portraits are only for that extreme minority. A good photographer knows how to highlight your assets while minimizing any areas you may be a little self conscious about.
Themes
Themed sessions are certainly an option and can make the shoot that much more fun. Picking a theme that you or your significant other are especially fond of can really make a lasting impression with the finished shots.
Clothing Choices
Bring clothing that you feel sexy and beautiful in. Bras, panties, corsets, teddies, stockings, tank tops, booty shorts, sports jerseys, and men's business shirts are all very popular options. Don't forget to bring accessories for each of your outfits as well as your sexiest shoes.
Modesty & Nudity
You don't have to take your clothes off to be sexy. Clothed, partially clothed, hinted nudity and fully nude can all be sexy. Let us know what you're comfortable with and we'll be sure to work within your comfort zone. After all, the best photos are taken when you are completely comfortable.
Retouching
Retouching is available however it is my preference to leave the photos true to the model. We work very hard to show each and every client how beautiful they are, not how well we use a computer to change them.
Privacy
Privacy is an obvious concern due to the intimate nature of boudoir sessions. All images are kept in strict confidence and no images will be shown without written permission from the client.
Girlfriend Sessions
You and three to four of your best girlfriends can get together and do your individual sessions at the same time or as a group. These can be done at the studio, your home, or anywhere in between and are a guaranteed great time filled with laughter. Arrange for someone to come and do your hair and make-up, do your own or do each others. Be sure to have some food and drinks handy as it can make for a long but very fun day or a very memorable girls night out.
Couple's Sessions
These sessions are romantic, sensual, playful, fun and always tasteful. Typically these sessions show you and your significant other cuddling, wrapped in each others arms, you can be as playful or seductive as you feel comfortable. We will make your time together a work of art that you can display to the world or keep completely for yourselves.
Enjoy being just the two of you away from all of life's distractions. A couples session is always a great addition to a weekend away.
Hair and Make-up
Many ladies are good at doing their own hair and make-up but there are plenty of options available. We have a professional make-up artist on staff to ensure your final portrait is exactly what you'd hoped it would be.
Where is the best place for your session
Your session can be done at our studio, your home, a bed and breakfast and even outside in private of secluded area. Even though we are based in Concord, NH travel can be arranged to nearly any location with a little planning. Let us know what your ideas are and we will work with you to
Tips for the morning of your session
Drink lots of water and wear loose fitting clothing. Avoid tight fitting undergarments and tight socks as they are the most likely to leave elastic pressure lines on your skin that will show up in your portraits.
After session tips
Getting into and holding some of the most flattering poses can give you a surprise workout so don't be surprised if you're a little sore that evening or the morning after. Be sure to drink lots of water and take a little ibuprofen if needed.
